No Work Today!

We had an ice storm here last night which has created a beautiful glistening mess.  My office was closed because we had no power, so instead of working a really long Monday I was able to spend my day with Thatcher!  It turned out to be a great start to the week.  Thatcher and I hung out for the day and went to meet Boley for lunch.  Sometimes (well, almost all the time) Boley seems to miss out on lunch dates with Thatcher.  Between patients, meetings, classes, (and selfishly having Syds bring Thatcher to my office for lunch), Boley doesn't get the chance to see our sweet little boy over his lunch break very often.  So, today we were lucky enough to pick him up for a lunch date at Jimmy Johns.
Here are some pictures of my wonderful Monday.

5 Months!!

Thatcher is 5 months old today!  Our little baby is growing big so fast.  He now weighs 17.5 pounds. He is still rolling from his tummy to his back, but is extremely hesitant to roll the other direction.  We stopped swaddling our little guy every night when he goes to bed, and he has still been sleeping well even with free hands.  He grabs for toys out of his reach, transfers them from one hand to the other, and lately he has actually started eating the rice cereal we are giving him!  More important than any of the new tricks, he is still smiling and laughing all the time.  Our happy little Thatcher makes everyday so much brighter.

And, here are a couple extra this month. . .

Start Spreading the News. . .

Thatcher's first trip to NYC was so much fun.  We flew to New York City to celebrate Brittney and Rob getting engaged and of course visit Uncle Nik and introduce Thatcher to some of our dearest friends.  Here are some of the pictures of the weekend.  As always, I wish we had more time to hang out with everyone, but I am very thankful for the weekend!  We can't wait to come back in May!

Congrats to Brittney and Rob!
We are so very happy for you two.

We missed Lindsay this weekend in the city.
We can't wait for Lindsay and Nik to move to Toledo!
At least Nik had some cuddling time with Thatcher until Lindsay got home!

It was so great to see Swati and Ash!  I miss you guys!
I only wish there was more time to hang out.

Bath Time

Bath time is one of Thatcher's favorite parts of the day. He kicks around in the water and always seems to laugh and smile whenever he gets in the tub. We love it.

My Tribute to Auntie Boo

Of all the time we get to spend with Auntie Boo, we never take any pictures!  Nanny Boo is Thatcher's best friend everyday, and I have failed miserably at documenting them together.  As everyone knows, going back to work was a pretty rough transition (to say the least), but there is no describing how much easier Syds has made the entire experience.  Nanny Boo is amazing.  I can never say thank you enough.  It is so fun to see Thatcher's face light up when Auntie Boo comes over.  He loves her. . . almost as much as I do.  Thanks for everything Syds, we really appreciate everything you do for us.
