BOOFERFEST 2011

We finally made it out to California to visit Nino!  I have been wanting to visit Beans for so long and we have all been counting down the days for months now.  Booferfest was so fun!  We celebrated Nino and Syds' birthday, the end of tax season and Thatcher's first Easter.  We missed Nik & Lindsay and Mom & Dad, so we will have to plan it better next time!
Avila Beach is an awesome place to live.  It is one of the coolest little towns I have ever been to. . . and Nino, you live there!  We had so much fun just hanging out.  Thank you, for everything.

We toured through wine country in Paso Robles for an afternoon.  The vineyards and rolling hills were absolutely beautiful.  It was one of my favorite days.

The Easter Bunny found Thatcher in Cali, and he was loving the blue eggs. (Thanks to Auntie Boo!)
For Easter brunch we all went out to a restaurant up on a cliff over looking the ocean at Shell Beach.
The picture does not do the scenery justice.

And of course, THE BEACH!!!

7 Months!!

Our little Thatcher is 7 months old!  He is weighing in at just over 20 lbs.  Thatcher is laughing like crazy, making all sorts of fun noises and rolling all around.  We are eating lots of fun foods now including bananas, apples, pears, blueberries, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, and now avocados.  Pears are definitely the favorite.  He has absolutely no desire to crawl, stand or hold his own bottle.  We have an adorably lazy little boy.

Let the Birthday Celebration Begin!

Syd and Nino's birthday is this week, so to start off the week of birthday festivities we went out to celebrate for dinner on Saturday night.  Dinner was awesome despite the fact it was so hot Thatcher was sweating the whole time and was down to a onsie by the end.
Thanks for letting us tag along to the roommate dinner!

Kicking it with Auntie Becca

We went up to Ann Arbor on Saturday for the Michigan Spring Game festivities.  Boley and Bryan went to the game despite the cold rainy day.  Thatcher, Becca and I opted to just hang out and eat Zingermans instead.  We are so excited for June to get here already for Thatcher to have another cousin to play with!

Yankees vs Red Sox . . . Round 1: Red Sox

It was a big baseball weekend here in our divided home.  Thatcher's loyalty is still undecided, so he always dresses as the winner.  Whoever wins the game gets to dress Thatcher for the next game.
This series ended up 2-1 Red Sox.

. . . I guess the Red Sox had to start winning at least a couple of games.

Day Trip to the Jones'

It had been way too long since we have seen our fellow Ohioans!  We drove down to Columbus on Saturday to spend the day with Anne, BJ, Brody and Macie.  We had such a fun relaxing day!
Why don't we make this trip more often?

Guess Who's Ready for "Underdogs"

We are ready for spring to get here already!  Thatcher has a cool new swing thanks to Grandma, and although it wasn't the warmest day, we had to try it out.
I think I know where Thatcher is going to log some serious time this summer.

Our weekend guests. . . soon to be neighbors!

Nik and Lindsay came home for a long weekend, and it was so fun to hang out!
In just a couple of months you guys will be back for good!

Happy Birthday Nana Gen

It was Nana Gen's birthday this week, so Thatcher wanted to give some birthday kisses.

Back to UTAH!

Our trip to Utah was WONDERFUL.  As always, it was so fun to see everyone!  The days went by so fast, but we enjoyed every minute.  I wish we could make the trip more often.  Thanks everyone for taking so much time out of busy schedules to hang out all weekend.  We miss you guys.
